An Order of the Minister of the Interior, the Overseas and Territorial Communities dated June 22, 2009 opened a national competition for nurses from professional firefighters for the year 2009 with a view to a list of fitness for professional firefighters' nurses.
This competition will take place on the following dates:
starting on Tuesday, October 27, 2009: evaluation of applications;
starting on Wednesday, October 28, 2009: oral admission tests.
Candidates who are 40 years of age or older as of January 1, 2009 (subject to age reductions provided for in the legislative and regulatory texts) and who hold either the State degree of a nurse or an authorization to practise the profession of a nurse, or a qualification title that is accepted as equivalent and is listed by the Minister of Health.
A decree published in the Official Journal of the French Republic will later specify the number of possible entries on the aptitude list.
The admission test will take place at the Civil Security Directorate (Asnières-sur-Seine).
Those who wish to apply for this examination should:
―to submit, in writing, a request for a registration file, accompanied by an enclosed envelope of €0.90 (format 23 × 33 cm), to the Ministry of Interior, Overseas and Territorial Communities (direction of Civil Security, Management and Competition Office, Place Beauvau, 75800 Paris Cedex 08) no later than Monday, September 7, 2009 (the stamp of the position being held)
―to download the registration file on the Ministry of Interior, Overseas and Territorial Communities website: www.interieur.gouv.fr ― tab: Civil Security Directorate, no later than Monday, September 7, 2009.
Complete applications must be returned no later than Monday, September 14, 2009 (the stamp of the position being held).
No follow-up action will be reserved for applications made out of time (after September 7, 2009) and applications are incomplete or completed without delay (after September 14, 2009).
