By order of the prefect of the Rhone on 4 August 2008, the renewal of the constitutive agreement of the public interest group called "GIPAL (Groupement d' intérêt public de l'académie de Lyon)" is approved.
The constitutive agreement of the group may be consulted by any interested person at the headquarters of the group and with the Minister for National Education.
Extracts from the constitutive convention are published in the Official Journal of the French Republic in accordance with thearticle R. 423-21 of the Education Code relating to public interest groups established pursuant toArticle L. 423-1 of the Education Code.

Name
The name of the group is "Public Interest Group of the Lyon Academy".
Subject
The purpose of the group is to:
― the implementation and development of academic cooperation, in the areas of continuous adult training, training and vocational integration, according to the general programme of activities that is planned for the duration of this Convention, namely:
― the implementation, in training adults, of research and development and engineering activities;
― the development of training actions of trainers and services services in the direction of EPLE, GRETA, other structures of national education, companies and other third parties (training advice, skills reviews, expertise, studies...);
― the graduated validation of the acquired experience, including participation in the organization of the information, guidance and support activities of the candidates and the organization of the validation sessions;
― participation in the organization and management of validation and examination sessions, for diplomas and audiences under the competence of the validation group, in the continuation of the mission of the examination division and examinations;
participation in the implementation of regulatory positions;
― the academic actions of promotion and animation of insertion devices for initial training and continuous training;
- the development of educational activities related to the vocational training of young people with a labour contract;
- the implementation of the electoral policy on the professionalization and insertion of personnel under assisted contracts;
― the management of the Learning Centre of the Lyon Academy (CFA AL);
– the organization and promotion of actions to improve the school-business relationship;
― the implementation, within the framework of educational and investment actions, of the measures envisaged in the European Employment Strategy (national operational plan for the FSE) and in the programming documents of the structural funds. Participation in international programmes. Management of related funding;
― the management of equipment and services of common interest, necessary for such activities.

The grouping consists of:
the state, represented by the rector of the Lyon Academy;
and
― Joseph Marie Carriat high school in Bourg-en-Bresse;
– Arbez-Carme high school in Oyonnax;
– Albert Thomas high school in Roanne;
– the High School of Urfé, in Saint-Etienne;
– the high school Ampère in Lyon;
― Louis Armand high school in Villefranche-sur-Saône;
– La Martinière Monplaisir high school in Lyon;
- Albert Camus high school in Rillieux-la-Pape.
Headquarters of the group
The headquarters of the group is located at 41, Fulchiron quay, 69005 Lyon.
Duration of the convention
The group is extended for a period of three years from 14 December 2008.
Management mode
The accounting of the group shall be maintained and its management carried out in accordance with the rules of public law, in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 62-1587 of 29 December 1962 relating to industrial and commercial public institutions, by a public accountant appointed by joint order of the Minister for National Education and the Minister for Budget.
Liability of members
In their relations with each other, members are held obligations of the group in the same proportions as their statutory rights.In respect of third parties, they are responsible for the debts of the group in proportion to their statutory rights. They're not in solidarity.
