Definition : Resource, good or service benefiting all, whose exploitation or preservation can justify an international collective action.
Note : A world public good can be material like the marine environment, air or water, or intangible like scientific knowledge, justice, health or human rights.
Foreign equivalent: global public good (GPG).

Definition : Doctrinal Notion relating to texts or legal provisions that do not have binding effects on themselves but may contribute, under certain conditions, to the formation of new legally binding rules.

Definition : Strategy to use water resources for political or economic purposes, including regional or international tensions.
