It is created, within the Ministry of agriculture and fishery, marine fisheries and aquaculture management, treatment automated of personal data called 'elect pro", whose purpose is the treatment of the elections of the members of local marine fisheries and marine breeding committees and, in the absence of such committees, members of the regional committees the establishment of electoral lists for the elections of members of local committees of maritime fisheries and marine farms in the management of the results of the elections.

The personal data used by this treatment are from the arrested electoral list for the previous elections, updated with data provided by the Directorate of Maritime Affairs (DAM), fishing permits data provided by the directorates, departmental, interdepartmental and regional Maritime Affairs (DRAM) and data from the national database of users of the Ministry of agriculture (BDNU).
They are used by the following recipients, according to their respective responsibilities and the need to know: ― management of marine fisheries and marine breeding to the Ministry of agriculture and fishing;
― the election commissions established in each local or regional Committee, if there is no local Committee.

Processed data for the crews and employees of enterprises of maritime fisheries and marine breeding, business leaders of sea fishing and breeding marine, namely on-board sea fishing business leaders, entrepreneurs of sea fishing not shipped arming one or more vessels of a fishing crew role, maritime fishing business leaders and the heads of marine breeding business.
The following are categories of processed information: General information on the voter: ― name and first names;
– date and place of birth;
― address;
― college voters, and possibly the category, to which he asks his registration;
Information specific to the sailors and sea fishing business leaders embarked: ― identification number, for sailors;
― duration minimum boarding on July 1 of the year preceding the election or duration of a period of service on the ground that can be validated for pension under article L. 12 sailors retirement pensions code, immediately preceded a boarding to fishing.
Information specific to sea fishing business leaders: ― name and full name of the spouse of business leader likely to become voters and eligible, sea fishing instead of the business leader, in the election of local and regional committees when in a region there is no local Committee.
