By an order of the prefect of the Rhone dated 31 October 2002, the constitutive convention of the public interest group called "GIPAL (group of public interest of the Lyon Academy)" is approved.
The constitutive agreement of the group may be consulted by any interested person at the headquarters of the group and with the Minister for National Education.
Extracts from the constitutive convention are published in the Official Journal of the French Republic, in accordance with Article 3 of Decree No. 2001-757 of 28 August 2001 on public interest groups constituted under Article L. 423-1 of the Code of Education.

Name
The name of the group is "GIPAL (Public Interest Group of the Lyon Academy)".
Subject
The purpose of the group is to:
- the implementation and development of academic cooperation, in the areas of continuous adult training, training and vocational integration, according to the general programme of activities that is planned for the duration of this agreement:
- implementation, in training adults, of research and development and engineering activities;
- development of training actions for trainers and services services to EPLE, GRETA and other structures of national education, companies and other third parties (training advice, balance sheets, expertise, studies...);
- graduated validation of professional achievements including participation in the organization of information, guidance and support activities of candidates and the organization of validation sessions;
- participation in the organization and management of validation and examination sessions (for diplomas and audiences under the competence of the validation group), in the continuation of the mission of the examination division and examinations;
- participation in the implementation of regulatory positions;
- academic activities for the promotion and animation of insertion devices;
- development of educational activities related to the vocational training of young people with a labour contract;
- implementation of the rectoral policy of professionalization and integration of young jobs of national education;
- the organization and promotion of actions designed to improve the school-business relationship;
- the implementation, within the framework of educational and investment actions, of the measures envisaged in the European Employment Strategy (National Employment Action Plan) and in the programming documents of the structural funds; management of related funding;
- any professional orientation actions necessary for the activity of the group in connection with the NISEP, without prejudice to the competence of the latter;
- the management of equipment and services of common interest, necessary for such activities.

- Saint-Exupéry high school in Bellegarde-sur-Valserine;
- Arbez-Carme high school in Oyonnax;
- Beauregard high school in Montbrison;
- Georges-Brassens high school in Rive-de-Gier;
- Albert-Thomas high school in Roanne;
- the high school Honoré-d'Urfé in Saint-Etienne;
- the high school Ampère in Lyon;
- Louis-Armand high school in Villefranche-sur-Saône;
- La Martinière-Montplaisir high school in Lyon;
- the high school Barthélémy-Thimonnier in L'Arbresle;
- Albert-Camus high school in Rillieux-la-Pape;
- Colbert high school in Lyon;
- the National Office for Information on Teaching and Professions.
Headquarters of the group
The headquarters of the group is located at the rectorate, 39 rue Pierre-Baizet, Lyon.
Duration of the convention
The group is established for a period of six years.
Management mode
The accounting of the group is maintained and managed according to the rules of public law, in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 62-1587 of 29 December 1962 relating to industrial and commercial public institutions, by a public accountant appointed by joint decree of the Minister for National Education and the Minister for Budget.
Liability of members
In their relations with each other, members are held obligations of the group in the same proportions as their statutory rights. In respect of third parties, they are responsible for the debts of the group in proportion to their statutory rights. They're not in solidarity.
