Name
The name of the public interest group is "Rugby World Cup 2007".
Members
The public interest group "Rugby World Cup 2007" is formed between the State, represented by the Minister of Youth, Sports and Associative Life, and:
- the French rugby Federation;
- the French National Olympic and Sports Committee.
Subject
The purpose of the group is to prepare and organize the 2007 rugby World Cup, to develop and design major events designed to encourage the development of rugby during this period, and to promote the image of France.
It combines cities, departments and regions with the reception of national and foreign teams and visitors, facilitates the intervention of the State services to the effective implementation of the goals of the World Cup and promotes the participation of representatives of trade, industry and tourism in the promotion of the event.
Headquarters
The headquarters of the group is set at the Centre national du rugby, Domaine de Bellejame, 3-5, rue Jean-de-Montaigu, 91460 Marcoussis. It may be transferred to any other place located in Metropolitan France, on deliberation of the board of directors.
Duration
The grouping was established until June 30, 2008.
Liability of members
In respect of third parties, members shall meet the commitments and debts of the group, in accordance with the terms and conditions provided for by the General Assembly constituting a two-thirds majority. In the absence of a qualified majority, each founding member will answer debts of the group to the extent of the rights granted to him in the general assembly.
