Key Benefits:
By order of the Minister of Equipment, Transport, Housing, Tourism and the Sea and of the Minister of Public Service, State Reform and Land Management dated 15 November 2002, the opening of two competitions (external and internal) for the recruitment of marine affairs controllers, speciality navigation and security (women and men) is authorized under the year 2003.
The number of positions offered at both competitions will be subject to an interdepartmental order that will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
The registration deadline is Thursday, 19 December 2002.
The date of the written examination is the subject of an order by the Minister of Equipment, Transport, Housing, Tourism and the Sea.
The composition of the jury will be subject to an order by the Minister of Equipment, Transport, Housing, Tourism and the Sea.

1. If the candidate does not reside in Paris (75):
- at the DDE of his residence department;
- the DRAM or the DDAM of its department of residence;
2. If the candidate resides in Paris (75):
- to the regional management of the equipment of Ile-de-France (DREIF) (training and competition office), 21-23, rue Miollis, 75732 Paris Cedex 15.
To receive a file by mail, the applicant will necessarily attach to the application an envelope in the format of 22.9 x 32.4 cm, labeled to his or her name and address and posted at the current rate for a letter of a weight of 200 grams, specifying which contest he wishes to register and what title (internal, external). Otherwise, no records will be sent.
Filing of records:
For all candidates, the application for registration will be required on the form specifically established for this competition.
The deadline for filing applications is 19 December 2002.
The registration file, together with any supporting documentation and three timbrated envelopes, will be required to be entrusted directly to postal services in a timely manner so that the shipment envelope addressed exclusively to the Ministry of Equipment, Transport, Housing, Tourism and the Sea (Manager, Services and Modernization, Sub-direction of Maritime Personnel, Control and Security, CS 1, Marine Business Comptrollers, Pascal B55 Defence Cedex may be obliterated by 19 December 2002 (the stamp of the position being held).
Any file filed after that date or reaching CS 1 in an envelope bearing a post cachet after December 19, 2002 or after that date in an envelope bearing no post stamp will be refused.
