Summary

The tables annexed to the decree are amended in accordance with that annexed to this decree. The current line of transmissions from the Ministry of Interior, Internal Security and Local Freedoms includes three public servants, inspectors, controllers and communications officers. Both the administration and the personnel note the archaic nature of this name, the evolution of the professions of the public servants involved today largely exceeds the strict field of transmissions to encompass what it has agreed to designate under the terms of information and communication systems. As a result, in-house the practice was to designate these officials as information and communication systems personnel. It is now necessary to formalize this change of name. To this end, a first decree to change the names of the bodies of the transmissions of the Ministry of Interior, Homeland Security and Local Freedoms was presented in this sense. This decree complements this first text and exclusively targets the decree of 1948 referred to above in order to replace in this decree the new appellations of the bodies to the old.

The Prime Minister,
On the report of the Minister of Interior, Internal Security and Local Freedoms, the Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry and the Minister of Public Service, State Reform and Land Management,
Having regard to Act No. 83-634 of 13 July 1983, amended on the rights and obligations of civil servants, together with Act No. 84-16 of 11 January 1984 on statutory provisions relating to the public service of the State;
In view of Decree No. 48-1108 of 10 July 1948 on hierarchical classification of the ranks and jobs of civil and military personnel of the State under the general pension system, together the texts that have completed or amended it;
In view of Decree No. 69-904 of 29 September 1969 on the regulation of public administration, as amended by Decree No. 74-154 of 17 May 1974 and Decree No. 93-324 of 11 March 1993 on the special status of the agents of the service of transmissions of the Ministry of Interior;
Having regard to Decree No. 84-238 of 29 March 1984 concerning the special status of the body of the communications inspectors of the Ministry of Interior, as amended by Decree No. 87-842 of 13 October 1987, No. 95-1198 of 6 November 1995 and No. 98-505 of 23 June 1998;
In view of Decree No. 2000-798 of 24 August 2000 on the specific status of the body of the internal ministry transmission controllers;
Having regard to Decree No. 2002-1280 of 24 October 2002, changing the names of the bodies of the transmissions of the Ministry of Interior, Internal Security and Local Freedoms;
Considering the opinion of the Conseil supérieur de la service publique de l'État dated 12 July 2002,
Decrete:

The tables annexed to the above-mentioned Decree of 10 July 1948 are amended in accordance with that annexed to this Decree.
