Order of 20 June 2002 amending the order of 17 May 2001 on the reduction of Emissions of volatile organic compounds related to the refuelling of motor vehicles in Gas station service stations between 500 and 3000 cubic metres per year

Minister of Ecology and Sustainable Development,
Seen the code of The environment, in particular Title II of Book V;
In light of Decree No. 2001-349 of 18 April 2001 on the reduction of emissions of volatile organic compounds related to the supply of vehicles at petrol stations;
In view of the 17 May 2001 on the Reduced emissions of volatile organic compounds related to the refuelling of motor vehicles at gas stations at a rate of between 500 and 3000 cubic metres per year;
In the opinion of the Board of Governors of the Classified installations,

Item 1
In Article 5 of the Order of 17 May 2001, the following words are added following the first sentence: Flame-stop devices (also known as flame retardant) shall comply with the standard NF EN 12874, or the technical standards or specifications or the manufacturing processes provided for in the regulations of a Member State of the Union European or other State Party to the Agreement establishing the European Economic Area, ensuring an equivalent level of security. "
