Summary after having observed an accumulated deficit of € 34 million and a deficit of EUR 17 million in the last fiscal year (2002-2003) of the special social security scheme of the electricity and gas industries, the Coordinating Committee of mutual funds complementary and social action proposes a series of measures allowing a return to the balance of operations. All the electric and gas industries trade unions agree to request the performance of an audit intended to illuminate the social partners with a view to a possible evolution of the structure of contributions and professional organizations in the industry have come close. Waiting for decisions involving the redesign of the structure of contributions, at first, the coordination committee has proposed as a temporary and protective measure increased contributions up to 31-03 - 2005 in order to balance the special social security scheme based on the evolution of the part of the deficit linked to the increase in technical specifications:-personal activity 3,786%; -personal pensioners 1,959%. After consultation with the social partners and discussions within the branch, the proposal was transformed in the following way: it is established a contribution as an exceptional and temporary, in addition to the contributions provided for in art. 23, paragraph 8 of the national status of the IEG staff. The rate of this contribution is:-for agents in activity, to 0.3% dependants of these agents and 0.3% in the support services, farms or businesses. -for pensioners, to 0.225% dependants of these pensioners and 0.3% in the support services, farms or businesses, for a period of one year from the 01-07-2003 to 30-06 - 2004.
