The Commission is chaired jointly by the Director General of Administration and by the Director General of Education and Research.
The Joint Consultative Commission meets at least once a year. The secretariat of the committee shall be provided by the Directorate-General for Administration. A representative of the staff shall be appointed to act as assistant secretary.
The committee shall draw up its rules of procedure, which shall be approved by decision of the Minister responsible for agriculture.
The Joint Consultative Commission is consulted in advance of any decision to withdraw employment. She is informed of appointment decisions in employment.
The Joint Consultative Commission may sit validly only if three-quarters of the Fewer members are present at the opening of the meeting. When the quorum is not present, a new convocation shall be sent within eight days to the members of the committee, which shall then validly sit if half of its members are present.
