Order of 28 April 2005 concerning the conditions of production of certain wines with a controlled designation of origin of the 2004 harvest

Given the General Tax Code;
Due to the Customs Code;
Due to the Rural Code;
Due to the Consumer Code;
In view of the proposals of the National Wine and Life Committee of the Institute of Appellations of Origin of 17 September 2004 and of 3 and 4 November 2004,
Stop:

Item 1


To qualify for the controlled appellations of origin set out in column I of the table annexed to this Order, the wines from the 2004 harvest for which enrichment has been granted Must, in particular, meet the conditions of production indicated in the table.

Article 2


The grapes must have been harvested at Mature. It shall not be considered to be at good maturity any unit lot of grapes with a wealth of sugar below the figure expressed in grams per litre of must set out in column II of the table in the annex, next to the name of each Appellations.

Article 3


Wines shall show the minimum natural alcoholic strength by volume set out in column III of the table In the Annex, next to the name of each of the appellations.

Article 4


Wine shall not exceed the alcoholic strength by volume In column IV of the table appended to this Order, next to the name of each of the appellations.

Item 5


The The Director General of Economic and International Policy, the Director General of Competition, Consumer and Fraud Prevention and the Director General of Customs and Indirect Rights shall each be responsible for The execution of this Order, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
