In view of Decree No. 93-622 of 27 March 1993 on the special status of the body of the Senior technicians in civil aviation studies and operations, as amended by Decree No. 98-666 of 30 July 1998 and by Decree No. 2000-116 of 9 February 2000;
In the opinion of the Joint Technical Committee of the Ministry of Equipment, Transportation and housing as of June 25, 2001;

Describes:
After item 2 of the same order, an article 2 bis reads as follows:
" Article 2 bis. -The senior technicians of the studies and operations of civil aviation in the air navigation and air transport sector may carry out the functions of air traffic control provided that conditions are met Specific medical conditions defined as well as their control arrangements, by joint order of the Minister responsible for civil aviation, the Minister responsible for the Public Service and the Minister responsible for health
By this Article, the senior technicians of the studies and operations of civil aviation exercising air traffic control functions shall be subject to the provisions of Decree No 86-442 of 14 March 1986 concerning the designation Authorised doctors, the organisation of medical committees and reform committees, the conditions of fitness for admission to public employment and the sick leave system of officials.
Medical examination of aptitude Provided for in Article 20 of the Decree of 14 March 1986 cited above shall be carried out by a doctor justifying an experiment in aviation medicine on a list drawn up by order of the Minister responsible for civil aviation.
The Medical Committee for Control Of the air navigation provided for in Article 6 of Decree No. 90-998 of 8 November 1990, as amended bearing in mind the special status of the body of air traffic control engineers, is responsible for giving the competent authority an opinion on:
1. Specific medical conditions required of the senior technicians involved in the studies and operations of the civil aviation concerned, pursuant to Article 22 of the decree of 14 March 1986;
2. Specific medical conditions;
3. Medical challenges relating to medical notices of fitness or inability to perform control duties pursuant to sections 20, 21 and 22 of the said Order dated March 14,
. Unfit to carry out air navigation control functions shall be assigned to one of the other functions of the air navigation and air transport chain provided for in Article 2 of this Decree after consulting the Committee Competent Joint Administrative Committee. "
Section 4 of the Order is amended as follows:
I.-At 2 ° I, the words: " ... in the services or in public establishments reporting to the Ministry responsible for civil aviation " Are replaced by the words: " ... in the services of the Directorate-General for Civil Aviation, the Ecole Nationale de l' Aviation civile et de l' Institution public Météo-France
. -At 3 ° II, the words: " ... in the services or in public establishments reporting to the Ministry responsible for civil aviation " Are replaced by the words: " ... in the services of the Directorate-General for Civil Aviation, the Ecole Nationale de l' Aviation civile et de l' Institution public Météo-France.
For recruitments organised up to 2003 in the technical and operation sector provided for in Article 2, the percentages mentioned in Article 4, 2 ° and 3 °, of Article 4 of the Decree of 27 March 1993 referred to above Are set to 50 %, 25 % and 25 % respectively.
Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry, Minister of Equipment, Transportation and Housing, Minister of Public Service and State Reform and Secretary of State for Budget Are responsible for the execution of this Decree, which shall be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
