In accordance with the decision of the Parliament:

ARTICLE 1
Scope

This law shall apply to the insurance claim to be taken in order to cover the costs of legal proceedings and costs ( Legal security insurance ).

This law does not apply to civil liability insurance for disputes or risks arising from the use of shipping vessels or their use.

This law shall not apply to measures taken by the insurer on the basis of the insurer's liability insurance, in order to safeguard the common interest of the insurer.

ARTICLE 2
Insurance book

In the case of legal expenses insurance as part of the insurance contract relating to insurance, the essential content of the legal expenses insurance shall be specified in the insurance book or any other equivalent document.

ARTICLE 3
The insured person's right to choose an agent or an assistant

The insured person who has been insured by an insurer authorised in Finland shall have the right to issue a contract to a lawyer or other lawyer of his choice. The insurance conditions shall mention the insured person's right under this paragraph.

A contractual clause limiting the right to an insured person under paragraph 1 shall be null and void.

§ 4
Handling of differences

The policy conditions shall state that the insured person is entitled to bring the disagreements between the insured person and the insurer to an impartial body identified in the policy conditions.

In the event of disagreement, the insurer shall inform the insured person of the right under Article 3 (1) and (1) of this Article.

A contractual condition restricting the right of the insured person to divulge the dispute before the Court of Justice is null and void.

§ 5
Entry into force

This Act shall enter into force at the time laid down by the Regulation.

This law shall apply to legal security insurance for which an agreement has been concluded or the liability of the insurer has commenced after the entry into force of the law.

The legal security guarantee provided for in the terms of which it is stipulated that the liability of the insurer shall continue at a time at a time, unless one of the Contracting Parties is ironed out and the contract has been concluded or the liability of the insurer has started before the law , this law is applicable to the entry into force of the law, mainly from the beginning of the next period of insurance.
