In accordance with the decision of the Parliament:

ARTICLE 1

The prevention and control of the harmful effects of radiation, the safety oversight of radiation and the use of nuclear energy, and related research, training and information, is a radiation protection centre under the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.

ARTICLE 2 (21.12.2007)

The Radiation Security Centre is headed by a Director General.

The Executive Director shall be appointed by the Council.

ARTICLE 3 (18.12.1987/1106)

Paragraph 3 has been repealed by L 18.12.1987/1106 .

§ 4

Within the limits of the statement of revenue and expenditure, the Radiation Security Centre may, where appropriate, use experts and, within the limits of its scope, conclude agreements with other authorities, entities and individuals, as well as studies and reports, Exchange and cooperation agreements with institutions and universities carrying out research activities within the remit of the Centre, on the implementation of joint research programmes.

§ 5

The Radiation Protection Centre shall have the right to charge for inspections, investigations and investigations conducted at the request, as well as for other services rendered by the Regulation. The fees shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of the State Payment Law (180/73) Is provided for.

State contribution base 980/1973 Has been repealed by the State payment instrument 150/1992 .

ARTICLE 6

More detailed provisions on the implementation of this law shall be adopted by the Regulation.

§ 7

This Act shall enter into force on 1 March 1984.

It repeals the Law of 20 June 1974 on radiological safety (186/72) .

The posts and actions mentioned in this Act may be established and fulfilled before the law enters into force. Moreover, before the entry into force of this Act, other measures necessary for the implementation of the law may be adopted.
