In accordance with the decision of the Parliament:

ARTICLE 1

ARTICLE 2

The compensation provided for in this Act shall be granted and carried out by the Treasury.

§ 4

Where this law provides for compensation from State resources, the State shall have the right to recover from the person who caused the damage or from any other person liable for compensation in accordance with the criteria relating to liability. The State Treasury shall be determined by the exercise of the right of recourse.

§ 5

More detailed provisions on the implementation of this law shall be adopted by the Regulation.

ARTICLE 6

This Act shall enter into force on 1 January 1981. It repeals the Law of 29 December 1967 relating to compensation for damage incurred in certain cases (266/86) With its subsequent modifications.

Before the date of entry into force of this Act, an earlier law shall apply.
