The presentation of the Minister of Education is laid down in the Act of 28 November 1969 on the posts of the artist professor and the State's artist grants (14,4/69) Articles 3 and 5:

Chapter 1

Artist professors

ARTICLES 1 TO 3

Articles 1 to 3 have been repealed by A 21.12.2010/1200 .

Chapter 2

State art grant money

§ 4 (203.2014/239)

The art promotion centre decides on the number of years of scholarships available in the various arts sectors.

§ 5 (21.12.2010/1200)

For special reasons, artists' grants may be awarded to critics.

ARTICLE 6 (21.12.2010/1200)

Artists can be awarded in order to safeguard working conditions and to study at home and abroad, as well as further training.

§ 7 (203.2014/239)

An application for an artist grant must be submitted by the end of March of the year preceding the grant. Decisions on the award of an artist grant shall be taken in June and September of the year preceding the grant.

An artistic grant period shall begin, unless otherwise decided by the art department concerned, from the beginning of the calendar year.

The guarantee centre may authorise the transfer of the grant period and the suspension of the grant period and the extension of the initial period.

The application referred to in paragraph 1 shall be accompanied by a plan for the use of the grant and any other explanations provided by the Centre.

ARTICLES 8 TO 10

Articles 8 to 10 have been repealed by A 22.8.2002/731 .

ARTICLE 11 (3.3.1995/275)

Paragraph 1 has been repealed by A 22.8.2002/731 .

If the beneficiary of the grant is killed or otherwise prevented from using the grant, or if the grant is cancelled, the relevant art office may reallocate the unused portion of the grant. (203.2014/239)

Article 11a (21.12.2010/1200)

The pension provided for in the Act on State aid for artists is requested in the form of application of the application for occupational pensions.

Article 11b (14.1.1982/47)

In the event of a change in the circumstances of a pensioner, which may affect the payment of a pension, his or her representative shall immediately inform the State Treasury. At the same time, it is necessary to submit a report to the Treasury on the fact that the conditions for entitlement to a pension still exist. The State Treasury may suspend the payment of the pension until the report has been completed.

Chapter 3

Miscellareous provisions

ARTICLE 12 (25.5.2000)

ARTICLE 14

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1970.

Entry into force and application of amending acts:

1.2.1980/86:
30.1.1981/76:

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 February 1981.

14.1.1982/47:

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 February 1982.

11.2.1983/16:

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 March 1983.

23.12.1988-9:

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1989.

15.12.1989/1174:

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1990.

3.3.1995/275:

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1996.

However, the provisions on the grant award procedure already apply to grants for the grant period starting from the beginning of 1996.

Before the entry into force of this Regulation, measures may be taken to implement it.

25.2.2000/2421:

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 March 2000.

25 MAY 2000/475:

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 June 2000.

This Regulation shall apply for the first time to grants for which the grant period starts on or after 1 January 2001.

However, in accordance with the provisions in force at the time of entry into force of the Regulation, the Central Commission for Art will decide on the amounts for the years 2001 and 2002 in the various artistic areas.

Before the entry into force of this Regulation, measures may be adopted for the implementation of the Regulation.

22.8.2002/731:

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 September 2002.

Before the entry into force of the regulation, measures may be taken to implement the Regulation.

21 DECEMBER 2010/1200:

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 2011.

However, the provisions of Articles 1 to 3 shall remain subject to the provisions of Articles 1 to 3 until 1 September 2014 at the time of entry into force of this Regulation.

Before the entry into force of the regulation, measures may be adopted for the implementation of the Regulation.

20.3.2014/239:

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 April 2014.
