DECREE N ° 541
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That the existing delimitation between the Municipalities comprising the
Department of St. Vincent, is not In accordance with the present development of the technology in recording and measurement
II.-That with the registration technology and the photogrammetric models currently
available by the National Center of Records, It is possible to carry out a precise delimitation and demarcation of these limits.
III.-That a process of dialogue between the Municipalities has been developed
involved with the assistance of the National Center of Registers and the Institute
Geographic and the National Catastro, thus arriving in this way and the signing of the Municipal Limit Act SAN VICENTE B SAN AGUSTIN with reference Nútíno 1010-1115, which is taken as the basis for the contents of the
this Decree and is annexed as an integral part of it.
IV. Art. 131 Ordinary to the 51st Constitution, it is the competence of
this State Authority to decree, authentically interpret, reform and repeal secondary laws.

DECRETA:
Art. 1.-It is established as Limit between the Municipalities of St. Vincent and St. Augustine of the
Departments of St. Vincent and Usulutan, the following:
The trace of the Municipal Limit consists of a single journey, composed of only one section, determined by two points, numbered one to two, by natural hydrographic element.
The measurement of the coordinates corresponding to the longitude and latitude of each of the points that make up the limit, has been performed on the cadastral old system information,
because of the Eastern Zone, specifically in The Departments of St. Vincent and Usulutan, have not yet performed the update of the cadastral base.

Single Journey
Single Tramo, from point number one to point number two. With a Southwest course, in a winding line,
by the central axis of the Lempa River, downstream, to intercept the extension of the central axis of the Chiquito River, which forms a right deflection of one hundred and twenty degrees, where the point is located

Soledad, of the cadastral leaves ten four hundred and sixty-one twenty zero zero zero, ten
four hundred and sixty-two zero two five hundred one, ten four hundred and sixty and two five hundred and fifty-one, and part of the sector ten eleven R twenty.
Trifinium point of arrival. The point of arrival will be the one described as number two, which to the
same time is trifinium, for the Municipalities of San Agustin and Jiquilisco, both of the
Department of Usulutan and San Vicente, belonging to the Department of Saint Vincent. Its adjoining are, for the Municipality of Saint Augustine, plot thirty-four; for the Municipality of Jiquilisco,
plot thirty three, of the cadastral sheet eleven four hundred and sixty-two zero three five hundred and fifty-one; for the Municipality St. Vincent, plot one hundred and thirty-nine, of the sector ten eleven R twenty.
Art. 2.-This Decree will enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
