DECREE NO 536

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That on February 12, 2015, Resolution AG-1/2015, which contains amendments to the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (BCIE), was approved.

II.-That the Instrument referred to in the previous recital has been approved by Executive Agreement No. 1479/2016 of 22 August 2016, and submitted to this Legislative Assembly for ratification.

III.- That such a resolution does not contain any provision contrary to the Constitution, its ratification being appropriate.

BY TANTO,

in use of the power established in Art. 131, Ordinary 7th of the Constitution, in relation to Art. 168, Ordinal 4th of the same, and at the initiative of the President of the Republic, through the Minister of Foreign Relations.

DECRETA:

Art. 1.-Resolution AG-1/2015, which contains amendments to the Constitution of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (BCIE), approved by the Board of Governors of the Bank, is ratified in all its parts at its Sixth Meeting Extraordinary, on February 12, 2015, which consists of four clauses; approved by Executive Agreement 1479/2016, dated August 22, 2016.

Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
