DECREE NO 84
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
WHEREAS:
I. That the existing delimitation between the municipalities that comprise the Department of Freedom does not conform to the present development of the technology in the field of registration and territorial measurement; nor does it conform to the current circumstances of social and economic development of the country.
II. That with the registration technology and the photogrammetric models currently available by the National Center of Records; it is possible to carry out a precise delimitation and demarcation of these limits.
III. That a process of dialogue has developed between the municipalities involved with the assistance of the National Records Center and the Geographic Institute and the National Catastro, thus arriving in this way to the elaboration and signature of the The FREEDOM-SAN JOSÉ VILLANUEVA municipal limit with reference number 0509-0514, which is taken as the basis for the content of this decree and annexed as an integral part of it.
IV. That the Municipal Code in its Art. 23 establishes that it is the faculty of the Legislative Assembly to decree the definition of territorial limits.
V. That according to Art. 131 ordinal 5th of the Constitution it is the competence of this First State Authority to decree, to interpret authentically, to reform and to repeal secondary laws.

DECCRETA:
Art. 1.-It is established as a limit between the Municipalities of La Libertad and San José Villanueva both of the Department of Freedom, the following:
The trace of the municipal limit consists of eight commutes: the first route formed of a section, determined by two points numbered from one to two, by the river known as San Antonio; the second journey formed from one section, determined by two points numbered from two to three, by line of plots; the third journey formed from four sections; determined with five points numbered from three to seven, by the river known as Teshcal and the broken known as El Escalón or Los Cubes; the fourth journey formed of a section, determined with two points numbered from seven to eight, per line of plots; the fifth route formed of a section, determined with two points numbered from eight to nine, by the river known as Chanseme; the sixth journey formed of a section, determined with

two numbered points from nine to ten, per line of plots; the seventh route formed from a stretch, determined with two points numbered from ten to eleven, by land communication known as the road from El Littoral leads to the town of San Jose Villanueva; the eighth way formed of a stretch, determined with two points numbered from eleven to twelve, by line of plots.
Triphinium starting point: It is defined on the central axis of the San Antonio River, specifically on the extension of the linderline of property of the five hundred and twenty-five hundred and seventy-one plots, with the central axis of that river, where the number one point is located, at the same time trifinium for the municipalities of: La Libertad, San José Villanueva and Zaragoza. Its coordinates are: Length equal four hundred and sixty-eight thousand four hundred and ninety-seven point fifty meters; Latitude equal two hundred and sixty-eight thousand and ninety-one point forty meters. Its adjacent ones are, for the municipality of La Libertad: plot one hundred and seventy one of the sector zero five zero nine R zero five; for the municipality of San Jose Villanueva: parcel one of the sector zero five fourteen R zero three; for the municipality of Zaragoza: Five hundred and twenty-five hundred of the sector zero five twenty-two R zero four.

Single Tramo, from point number one to point number two: On a southeast course, in a straight line, by the central axis of the San Antonio River, waters below, to intercept the extension of the line of ownership of the plots one, two hundred and fifty one, with the central axis of the mentioned river, place where the number two point is located, with a distance of one hundred and twenty-three point eighty-six meters; its coordinates are: Length equal four hundred and sixty-eight thousand five hundred twenty point thirty and one meters; Latitude equal two hundred and sixty-seven thousand nine hundred and seventy-one point forty-two meters. Its adjacent ones are, for the municipality of La Libertad: plot one hundred and seventy-one of the sector zero five zero R zero five; for the municipality of San Jose Villanueva: parcel one of the sector zero five fourteen R zero three.

Single Tramo, from point number two to point number three: With a southeast direction, in broken line, by line of plots, to intercept the central axis of the Teshcal River, specifically in the extension of the property line of the plots two, two hundred and fifty-eight, with the central axis of the mentioned river, where the point number is located three, with a distance of a thousand four hundred and eleven eighty-eight meters; their coordinates are: Length equal four hundred and sixty-nine thousand four hundred and forty-eight point sixty-eight meters; Latitude equal two hundred and sixty-seven thousand three hundred and twenty-one point twenty-three meters. Tramo one, from point number three to point number four: With a southeast direction, in a semi-city line, by the central axis of the river Teshcal, downstream, to the mouth of the La Miquera River, where the number four point is located, with a distance of a thousand hundred and ninety point fifty and seven meters; its coordinates are: Length equal four hundred and sixty-nine thousand nine hundred and eighty-six point twenty-four meters; Latitude equal two hundred and sixty-six thousand four hundred Fifty point thirteen meters. Tramo three, from point number five to point number six: With course Southwest, in semi-city line, by the central axis of the river Teshcal, downstream, until its confluence with the broken El Escalón or Los Cubos, giving rise to the Amayo River, where the number six point is located, with a distance of three hundred and thirty-five point twenty-four meters; its coordinates are: Length equal four hundred and seventy thousand four hundred and eighteen point thirty-two meters; equal latitude Two hundred and sixty-five thousand six hundred thirty-four point thirty-four meters. Its adjacent ones are, for the municipality of La Libertad: plot two hundred seven of the sector zero five zero nine R zero nine; for the municipality of San Jose Villanueva: plot three hundred one of the sector zero five zero nine R zero nine.
Tramo four, from point number six to point number seven: With a northeast direction, in a semi-urban line, by the central axis of the broken El Escalón or Los Cubes, upstream, to intercept the south linderline of the plot one hundred and fifty-two, where it is located the point number seven, with a distance of one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine point seventy-six meters; its coordinates are: Length equal four hundred and seventy-one thousand four hundred and ninety-one point ninety-six meters; Latitude equal two hundred and sixty-six thousand seven hundred and forty-three-meter-three meters. Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
