THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.- That the existing delimitation between the municipalities that comprise the Department of Usulután does not conform to the present development of technology in the field of registration and territorial measurement; nor to the existing circumstances of social and economic development of the country.

II.- That with the recording technology and the photogrametric models currently available by the National Registry Centre; it is possible to carry out a precise delimitation and demarcation of those limits.

III.- That a process of dialogue has been developed between the municipalities involved with the assistance of the National Registry Centre and the Geographical Institute and the National Catastro, thus arriving to the elaboration and signature of the Act of the municipal boundary CONCEPCION BATRES - EREGUAYQUIN with reference No. 1104 - 1106, which is taken as the basis for the contents of this decree and is annexed as an integral part of it.

IV.- According to Art. 131 ordinal 5th of the Constitution is the responsibility of this State Body to decree, interpret, reform and repeal secondary laws.

RIGHT:

Art. 1.- It is established as a limit between the municipalities of Concepción Batres and Ereguayquín both of the Department of Usulután, the following:

The trazo of the municipal boundary consists of two routes; the first route consisting of three sections determined by four points, numbered from one to four, by land communication; the second route consisting of three sections determined by four points, numbered from four to seven, by natural hydrographic element.

Trifinio Point of Start. It is defined in the interception that makes the railway line on the brook El Tránsito (dry bed); place where the number one point is located, at the same time trifinio for the municipalities of Concepción Batres and Ereguayquín, both of the department of Usulután and El Tránsito, belonging to the department of San Miguel. Its coordinates are the same length, five hundred seven thousand two hundred seven thirty-one meters; equal latitude, two hundred forty-seven thousand five hundred

Traject one

I bring one, point number one to point number two. Southwest, in a straight line, by the central axis of the railway line, to intercept the central axis of the road that of San Rafael Oriente leads to the road of the Litoral (CA2), where the point number two is located, with an approximate distance of one hundred and twenty-five point thirty-five meters. Its coordinates are equal length, five hundred seventy thousand ninety-eight forty-two meters; equal latitude, two hundred forty-seven thousand five hundred and eighty cubits sixty meters. In northwest, in semi-curve line, by the central axis of the railway line, until intercepting the central axis of the Loma del Macho or San Rafael , where the point number three is located, with an approximate distance of one thousand two hundred ninety and one point sixty-six. Its coordinates are equal length, five hundred sixty-eight thousand eight hundred thirty-seven cubits sixty-eight meters; equal latitude, two hundred forty-seven thousand six hundred ninety-eight cubits sixty-eight meters. On the northwest, on a semi-curve line, along the central axis of the railway line, until you reach intercept the central axis of the River Batres, where the point number four is located, with a distance of approximately seven hundred twenty-six point ninety-three meters. Its coordinates are equal length, five hundred sixty-eight thousand two hundred thirty-five thirty-nine meters; equal latitude, two hundred forty-eight thousand eighty-six ninety-three meters. Latitude equal, two hundred forty-seven thousand two hundred twenty-one twenty-eight meters. South, in a sinuous line, by the central axis of the river Batres, downstream, to the mouth of the river El Zope on the shore of the river Batres or Ereguayquín, at the point known as La Bocana, where the point number seven is located, with a distance of three thousand six hundred eighteen point thirteen meters. Its neighbors are, for the municipality of Ereguayquín, plot three hundred seventy three; for the municipality of Concepción Batres, plot three hundred seventy and three; for the municipality of Usulután, plot three hundred seventy and two, all belonging to the Catalan leaf five hundred and fifty and four zero three zero zero zero zero zero zero zero zero zero zero.

Art. 2.- This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
