THE LEGISLATURE OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR, CONSIDERING
:
I.- accordance with Article 131, ordinal 22 of the Constitution of the Republic, is Body power of this State, grant individuals or populations, titles, honors and rewards compatible with the established form of government.
II.- Villa de Izalco, Department of Sonsonate, was declared City on February 7 of in 1862, and is recognized for its invaluable contribution to the history of El Salvador, becoming emancipating icon Salvadoran libertarian vocation and pride of their native origins, which represents an essential element of our cultural heritage and identity as a nation.
III.- That the illustrious City of Izalco has sufficient merit to be declared symbolically "Capital of the Republic of El Salvador for a Day", in order to contribute to the enhancement of the celebration of its 150 years of being declared City.
THEREFORE,
