INDEX LEGISLATIVE DECREE No. 12

THE LEGISLATURE OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR, CONSIDERING
:
I. That the existing boundary between the municipalities comprising the Department of San Salvador, not adjusted the present development of technology in land registration matters and measurement; nor to the current circumstances of social and economic development of the country.
II.- with the registration technology and photogrammetric models currently available by the National Registration Center; It is possible to perform a precise delimitation and demarcation of these boundaries.
III that has developed a process of dialogue between the municipalities involved with the assistance of the National Registration Center and the Geographic Institute and National Cadastre, reaching in this way to the drafting and signing of the municipal boundary SAN MARCOS - SANTO TOMAS with reference No. 0612-0616, which is taken as the basis for the content of this decree and is attached as an integral part thereof.
IV.- That the Municipal Code in Art. 23 establishes that the Legislature power to enact the definition of territorial boundaries.
V.- That pursuant to Art. 131 ordinal 5 of the Constitution is the responsibility of the State Body First enact, authentically interpret, amend and repeal secondary laws.
THEREFORE,
in exercise of its constitutional powers and initiative of Deputies César Humberto Garcia Aguilera, Antonio Ponce Mario Lopez, Jesus Large and Abilio exdiputados Noel Bonilla Bonilla, Isidro Antonio Caballero Caballero, Jose Ernesto Castellanos Campos Roberto Eduardo Castillo Batlle, Nicolas Garcia Alfaro, Vilma Celina Garcia Monterrosa, Gaspar Armando Benitez Portillo, Marco Tulio and Miguel Angel Mejia Palma Navarrete Navarrete. Art. 1. It is established as the boundary between the municipalities of San Marcos and St. Thomas both the Department of San Salvador, the following:
The stroke of the municipal boundary is composed of fifteen routes. The first path consists of two sections, determined with three points, numbered from 1 to 3, on the edge of plots; the second path consisting of a stretch, given two points, numbered from 3 to 4, by terrestrial communication; the third path consisting of a stretch, given two points, numbered

of 4 to 5, for parcel boundary; the fourth path, consisting of a stretch, given two points numbered five to six natural element; the fifth path formed by a length determined with two numbered points 6 to 7, a border of plots; the sixth route, consisting of a given section with two points, numbered 7 to 8, by natural element; the seventh path formed by a stretch, given two points, numbered from 8 to 9, on the edge of plots; the eighth path formed by a length determined by two points, numbered 9 to 10, by natural element; the ninth path formed by a length determined by two points, numbered 10 to 11, on the edge of plots; the tenth path formed by a length determined by two points, numbered 11 to 12, by natural element; the eleventh path formed of a stretch, determined by two points, numbered 12 to 13, by terrestrial communication; the twelfth path formed by a length determined by two points, numbered 13 to 14, on the edge of plots; the thirteenth, route consists of three sections, determined with four points, numbered from 14 to 17, by terrestrial communication; the fourteenth, path consists of two sections, determined with three points, numbered seventeen to nineteen, on the edge of plots; the fifteenth and final path formed by a single section, given two points, numbered 19 to 20, by terrestrial communication.

Punto Trifinio start. It is defined in the interception of the boundary of property between plots sixty-eight and one hundred ninety five, both of sector zero six sixteen R zero one, with the southern boundary of the plot forty two (farm El Guaje), the sector zero zero one six seventeen R, which is point number one, at the same time trifinio point for the municipalities of Soyapango, St. Thomas and St. Mark, all of the department of San Salvador. Its coordinates are the same length, four hundred eighty-three thousand two hundred thirty-six point eighty-five meters; the same latitude, two hundred eighty-three thousand and eighty-six point fifty-one meters. Its surrounding are, for the municipality of Soyapango, plot forty-two, zero zero one six seventeen R sector (farm El Guaje); for the municipality of Santo Tomas, plot hundred ninety five, sixteen sector zero six zero one R and the municipality of San Marcos, plot sixty eight, sixteen sector zero six zero one R.
Route one.
Section one point to point number one number two. Heading west, in broken line, by boundaries of plots to intercept the boundary that divides the plots three hundred and twenty (farm San Antonio), the sector zero six sixteen R zero one and one hundred seventy-nine (farm San Rafael), the sector zero six zero one R twelve, where the point number two is located, with a distance of approximately 1635 point thirty-nine meters. Its coordinates are the same length, four hundred eighty-two thousand eight hundred seventy-nine point thirteen meters; the same latitude, two hundred eighty-two thousand three hundred ninety-eight point ninety-eight meters. Its coordinates are the same length, 482,619 meters; the same latitude, two hundred eighty-one thousand eight hundred ninety-seven point twenty-eight meters. Punto Trifinio arrival. The arrival point will be described as number twenty, which at the same time is trifinio point for the municipalities of San Marcos, St. Thomas and Panchimalco, all from the Department of San Salvador. Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
