INDEX LEGISLATIVE DECREE No. 36

THE LEGISLATURE OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR, CONSIDERING
:
I. That the existing boundary between the municipalities comprising the Department of Sonsonate, does not fit the this development of technology in land registration matters and measurement; nor to the current circumstances of social and economic development of the country.
II.- with the registration technology and photogrammetric models currently available by the National Registration Center; It is possible to perform a precise delimitation and demarcation of these boundaries.
III that has developed a process of dialogue between the municipalities involved with the assistance of the National Registration Center and the Geographic Institute and National Cadastre, reaching in this way to the drafting and signing of the municipal boundary Santa Isabel Ishuatán - SONSONATE with reference No. 0305 - 0315, which is taken as the basis for the content of this decree and is attached as an integral part thereof.
IV.- That pursuant to Art. 131 ordinal 5 of the Constitution is the responsibility of the State Body First enact, authentically interpret, amend and repeal secondary laws.
THEREFORE,
in exercise of its constitutional powers and initiative of Deputies Carlos Cortez Hernández, Nery Arely Diaz de Rivera, Rafael Tobar Morán, Mario Eduardo Valiente Antonio Ortiz and Guadalupe Vasquez Martinez and former deputy Erik Bonilla Look. DECREES

Art. 1. It is established as the boundary between the municipalities of Sonsonate and Santa Isabel Ishuatán both the Department of Sonsonate, the following:
The stroke of the municipal boundary is formed by a single path, consisting of two sections, determined with three points, numbered from 1 to 3, by hydrographic natural element.
Trifinio Start Point. It is defined in the interception of the extension of the central axis of the street that the Apancoyo river leads to the village of Los Achiotes, with the central axis of Apancoyo river, where the point is placed number one at the same trifinio time for the municipalities of Santa Isabel Ishuatán, Sonsonate and Cuisnahuat, all belonging to the department Sonsonante. Its coordinates are the same length, four hundred twenty-nine thousand four hundred fifty-one zero point one meter; the same latitude, two hundred seventy-one thousand three hundred twenty-seven point thirteen meters. Route one.
Section one point to point number one number two. Heading west, in sinuous line, along the central axis of Apancoyo river, downstream to intercept the central axis of the road from the port of La Libertad leads to the city of Sonsonate, known as the Coastal Highway (CA-2) specifically on the bridge Apancoyo, where the point number two, is located with a distance of approximately two thousand and sixty-three point seventeen meters. Section two point to point number two number three. Heading east, in sinuous line, along the central axis of Apancoyo river, downstream, crossing the Coastal Highway (CA-2), to its mouth at the Pacific Ocean, specifically in Bocana de Apancoyo or Barra El Maguey, place where the point number three is located, with a distance of approximately three thousand five hundred fifty-two point sixty three meters. Its coordinates are the same length, four hundred twenty-eight thousand and thirty-three point eighty-three meters; the same latitude, two hundred sixty-seven thousand eight hundred fifty-six point ninety-seven meters. Check Point Common. The arrival point is described as the number three, which is common at the same time point for the municipalities of Santa Isabel Ishuatán, Sonsonate and the Pacific Ocean. Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
