1 index Legislative Decree Nº 97 the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of EL SALVADOR, considering: I.-that the Art. 168, Ordinal 15 of the Constitution, States that it is attribution and obligation of the President of the Republic to ensure the effective management and implementation of public affairs.
II. that by means of Decree-Law No. 469 of date 13 December 1961, published in Official Journal No. 235, volume no. 193, of 21st of the same month and year, issued the law of the Salvadoran Institute of tourism.
III.-that it is necessary to establish the legal powers that allow public administration select more competent private sector officials, through the opening and diversity of ideas; What must be the corresponding reforms to the law referred to in the previous recital.
Therefore, on the initiative of the President of the Republic, by the Minister of tourism and use of his constitutional powers.
Following DECRETAlas: reforms to the law of the Institute SALVADORAN of tourism article 1.-replacing article 6, letter e) and add a final paragraph to this article, in the following manner: "e) two proprietary directors elected and appointed by the President of the Republic an open list of candidates presented by Trade Union entities of private business related to the object of this law with legal personality" , non-governmental organizations related to the tourism issue with legal personality, universities accredited by the Ministry of education and unions of companies that engage in activities related to the object of this law. "The procedures relating to the present literal will be regulated by law".
"(The entities mentioned in the letter e), that wish to include candidates in the list, must select them according to your ordering internal".
Article 2.-the directors of business associations private related to the object of the law who are appointed to the date of entry into force of this Decree, will last in their functions until the 31 of August 2012, unless already have been appointed directors in accordance with this decree or new appointments are in process , according to 2 index legislative provisions of this reform, in which case will continue serving as soon as you do not perform this.
Article 3.-this Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the official journal.
