1 index Legislative Decree Nº 149 LA Legislative Assembly of the Republic of EL SALVADOR, considering: I.-which in accordance with article 131, paragraph 22 of the Constitution of the Republic, is Faculty of this organ of State grant to individuals or populations, titles, honorary distinctions and gratuities consistent with the form of Government established by relevant services to the homeland.
II.-that article 6, literal c) honorary distinctions, rewards and titles Act, establishes that the honorary distinctions of remarkable and distinguished or accomplished, in their order of importance, may be granted to Salvadoran people and foreign residents, when services or contributions that have been given to the homeland, is related to the dissemination and use of science art, culture, education and sport or any other form of altruistic or collective service; such a way, that represents an undeniable benefit for the Salvadoran Government or its inhabitants.
III.-that the athlete Roberto Alexander Hernández Maldonado, born January 9, 1989, in Santa Ana, has been engaged since its 13 year-old sport, specializing in older compound bow mode.
IV.-that his outstanding career as an athlete, has earned for his career and as a representative of our country, a total of 74 medals, which include, pepperoni to El Salvador among the 10 best countries worldwide of discipline arch composite major, in the World Cup, held in Ogden, United States; three gold medals at the Pan American Championship, Guadalajara, Mexico, 2010; and a gold medal and two silver in the Central American Games and of the Caribbean, Mayagüez, medals 2010.
V under the aforementioned merits, it is coming to give the honorable distinction of "distinguished SPORTSMAN of EL SALVADOR", the young Roberto Alexander Hernández Maldonado, who with their effort, hard work and dedication, has put on high the name of El Salvador globally in the sport bow compound.
Therefore, use of his constitutional powers and at the initiative of MEPs: José Alvaro Mena Cornejo, Guillermo Antonio Olivo Mendez and Antonio Echeverría Veliz.
DECREES: 2 index legislative article 1.-declared to the jovenRoberto Alexander Hernández Maldonado, "distinguished SPORTSMAN of EL SALVADOR", that with your effort, hard work and dedication, has high the name of El Salvador globally in the sport bow compound.
Article 2.-this Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the official journal.
