1 index Legislative Decree No. 280 the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of EL SALVADOR, considering: I.-that in accordance with article 131 ordinal º 22 of the Constitution, corresponds to the legislature the right to grant to individuals or populations, titles, honorary distinctions and compatible with the established form of Government perks.
II.-that the municipality of San Antonio, Department of San Miguel, has currently achieved remarkable progress, since it has the necessary public and private services for the welfare and development of its inhabitants; Thus, complying with the requirements laid down in the law of honorary distinctions, rewards and titles, to raise their current category of Villa.
III.-that for the above reasons, the municipality of San Antonio, Department of San Miguel, meets the conditions for granting him the title of Villa.
Therefore, use of the constitutional powers and at the initiative of the deputies Jose Edgar Escolán Batarse y Lucía de el Carmen Ayala de León.
Decree: Article 1.-granted the title of Villa to the population of San Antonio, Department of San Miguel.
Article 2.-this Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the official journal.
