DECREE No. 290 THE LEGISLATURE OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR, CONSIDERING
:
I.- accordance with Article 131, ordinal 11 of the Constitution, is empowered of this Legislature to enact, in general, benefits and tax incentives or other nature, to promote, scientific, agricultural, industrial, or other cultural activities.
II.- specialized professionals in the analysis and diagnosis of clinical laboratory health, contribute to daily medical work, appropriate prescription for the treatment and eradication of diseases affecting the Salvadoran population; pushing for that purpose, activities aimed at strengthening the quality and efficiency of professional service, emphasizing on ethics and commitment to ensure service health protection. That since

IV.- That view of the foregoing, it may be decided on 26 February each year, "DAY OF PROFESSIONAL CLINICAL LABORATORY OF EL SALVADOR" in recognition of their dedication in applying their scientific knowledge, benefit of the Salvadoran population.
THEREFORE,
in exercise of its constitutional powers and initiative of MEPs: Carmen Elena Calderón Sol Escalon, Edmundo Cabrera Yohalmo Chacon, Rolando Mata Fuentes; and the deputy and the deputy of the 2009-2012 Legislature: Salamanca Luis Enrique Martinez and Ana Daysi Cruz Villalobos. DECREES

Art. 1. It is declared on 26 February each year, "DAY OF PROFESSIONAL CLINICAL LABORATORY OF EL SALVADOR" in recognition of his dedication to the application of scientific knowledge for the benefit of the Salvadoran population.
Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
