1 Decree No. 291 the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of EL SALVADOR, considering: (I).-in accordance with article 131, paragraph 11 of the Constitution, is Faculty of this legislature enact, in General, benefits and tax incentives or of any nature, for the promotion of cultural, scientific, agricultural, industrial, or other.
II.-that more than half a billion people, that is, approximately one in ten adults, they have any type of kidney disease; and every year many of them die prematurely from heart complications, strokes or other directly related to chronic kidney failure.
III.-that in El Salvador, chronic renal failure, has been declared by the Ministry of health, as the first cause of Hospital death at the national level; and approximately seventy-five new cases are diagnosed every month by national public and private hospitals.
IV. who, owing to the above, is coming to declare the second Thursday of the month of March of each year, the "National day of the person with terminal chronic renal failure", in order to raise awareness in society about the effects of this disease.

DECREES: Article 1.-declare the second Thursday of the month of March of each year, "National day of the person with terminal chronic renal failure", in order to create awareness in society about the effects of this disease 2.
Article 2.-the present Decree shall enter in force eight days after its publication in the daily official.
