1 Decree No. 305 the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of EL SALVADOR, considering: I.-that the existing delineation between the municipalities that comprise the Department of Santa Ana, does not conform to the present development of registry technology and territorial measurement; as neither to the current circumstances of development social and economic of the country.
II.-that the registry technology and models currently available photogrammetric by national records center; It is possible to carry out a delimitation and precise demarcation of those limits.
III.-that has developed a process of dialogue between the municipalities involved with the assistance of the National Center of records and the geographical Institute of the national cadastre, reaching in this way to the drafting and signing of the Act of municipal limit METAPAN - SANTA ROSA GUACHIPILÍN with reference no. 0207 - 0211, which is taken as the basis for the content of this Decree and attached as an integral part of it.
IV.-in accordance to article 131 ordinal 5th of the Constitution is competition of this organ of the State Decree, authentically interpreted, reform and repeal laws secondary.

DECREES: Article 1.-is established as the boundary between the municipalities of Metapan and Santa Rosa Guachipilín both of the Department of Santa Ana, the following: the outline of the municipal boundary is formed by a single route, composed of a single section, determined by two points, numbered from one to two, by hydrographic natural element.

It is defined in the interception of the central axis of the elbow or the Ceibillal Gorge with the central axis of the Lempa River, where is located the point number one, at the same time trifinio for municipalities: Metapan, Santa Rosa Guachipilín, both of the Department of Santa Ana and new conception of the Department of Chalatenango. Its coordinates are, length, four hundred sixty-four thousand eight hundred fifty-eight point zero one meters; Latitude equal, three hundred forty and five thousand four hundred fifty and nine point sixty and three meters. Its adjoining are, to the town of Metapán, plot twenty eight, sector zero two zero seven zero R seventy-four; for the 2 municipality of Santa Rosa Guachipilín, plot eighteen, sector zero two eleven nine zero R; for the municipality of Nueva Concepción, plot seven, sector zero two nine eleven zero R.

Its adjoining are, to the town of Metapán, plots that correspond to the hamlets: El Amatillo, San Antonio Las Vegas, Hacienda El Salitre, La Isla, Toncontin and the Board; for the municipality of Santa Rosa Guachipilín, plots the following hamlets: Palo Galan, urban area of the town of Santa Rosa Guachipilín, Talpetates, Barrio Los Conacastes, El Capulín, Las Valentinas, Chapulines, El Amatón, La Vega of the Board, wineries, Loma Polletillas, Llano de Las Majadas, loma La Puerta.
Trifinio arrival point. Article 2.-the present Decree shall enter in force eight days after its publication in the daily official.
