1. Decree No. 337, the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of EL SALVADOR: I.-that in accordance with article 131 ordinal 22 ° of the Constitution, corresponds to the legislature the right to grant to individuals or populations, titles, honorary distinctions and compatible with the established form of Government perks.
II.-the municipality of Caluco, Sonsonate Department, currently achieved remarkable progress, since it has the necessary public and private services for the welfare and development of its inhabitants; Thus, complying with the requirements laid down in the law of honorary distinctions, rewards and titles, to raise their current category of Villa.
III.-that for the above reasons, the municipality of Caluco, Sonsonate Department, meets the conditions for granting him the title of Villa.
Therefore, use of the constitutional powers and at the initiative of the Deputy Silvia Ostorga of Escobar and with the support of the members José Antonio Almendáriz Rivas, Rafael Antonio Jarquín Lario, César Humberto García Aguilera and Reynaldo Antonio Lopéz Cardoza.
Decree: Article 1.-granted the title of Villa to the population of Caluco, Sonsonate Department.
Article 2.-this Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the official journal.
