1. Decree No. 416, the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of EL SALVADOR: I.-that the "Dei Verbum" Foundation, is a non-political, not-for-profit public utility entity, which, among others, aims to announce and promote the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; to promote social development through project housing, education, food and health.
II.-to to raise funds for the realization of care centres for youth in different parts of the country, the country introduced a vehicle, which subsequently will be raffled.
III.-that in accordance with the powers as this Legislative Assembly gives the Constitution of the Republic, is exempt from the payment of taxes, including warehousing, that may cause the introduction to the country of the vehicle concerned, as well as the drawing of the same.
Therefore, use of his constitutional powers and at the initiative of the Deputy Mario Marroquin Mejia and the Congresswoman Carmen Elena Calderón de Escalón.
Decree: Article 1.-exonerate to the Foundation "Dei Verbum", from the payment of taxes, including warehousing, with the exception of tax on the transfer of movable property and to the provision of services (VAT), which can cause the introduction to the country of a vehicle and the drawing of the same, which is of the following features: brand: Kia; model: TAS6K2615_D_D577_2014-PICANTO LX 1. 0 l; type: Sedan; class: Auto; engraving chassis number: KNABE511AET567169; engine number: G3LADP061334; color: Red; fuel: gasoline: year: 2014.
The exemption granted is subject to surveillance and control that the respective fiscal agencies should exercise. Also, them representatives of the referred Foundation, must present to this Assembly within them 30 days subsequent to the event, a report duly signed and sealed by an auditor responsible, on them income obtained and the distribution of them themselves.
Article 2.-this Decree shall enter into force as from the day of its publication in the official journal.
