1. Decree No. 468, the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of EL SALVADOR: I.-which in accordance with article 131, paragraph 22 of the Constitution of the Republic, is Faculty of this organ of State grant to individuals or populations, titles, honorary distinctions and gratuities consistent with the form of Government established by relevant services to the homeland.
II.-that article 6, literal c) honorary distinctions, rewards and titles Act, establishes that the honorary distinctions of remarkable and distinguished or accomplished, in their order of importance, may be granted to Salvadoran people and foreign residents, when services or contributions that have been given to the homeland, is related to the dissemination and use of science art, culture, education and sport or any other form of altruistic or collective service; such a way that represents an undeniable benefit for the Salvadoran Government or its inhabitants.
III. citizen Mauricio Regino Navas Guzman, has had his life-pastoral function, by means of which, has made great efforts for the existence of a peaceful and productive coexistence among the inhabitants of our country.
IV.-that is important to highlight the valuable contribution of humanitarian and spiritual that the Pastor Mauricio Regino Navas Guzman, has provided the Salvadoran people through activities aimed to extend the message of God to the Salvadoran people and the importance of stopping the violence that our country is living.
V under the aforementioned merits, it is coming to the honorable distinction of "Notable Pastor of El Salvador", giving the Doctor Mauricio Regino Navas Guzmán, in recognition of his valuable contributions to the peaceful and productive coexistence among the inhabitants of our country.
Therefore, in use of its powers constitutional and to initiative of them members and the deputies: Margarita Escobar, David Ernesto Reyes Molina, Marcos Francisco Salazar Umaña, Donato Eugenio Vaquerano Rivas.
Decree: Article 1.-declare Doctor Mauricio Regino Navas Guzman, "Remarkable PASTOR of EL SALVADOR", in recognition of valuable contributions to the peaceful and productive coexistence among the inhabitants of our country.

2 article 2.-this Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the official journal.
