1. Decree No. 470 the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of EL SALVADOR, considering: (I).-in accordance with rule 131, 22 ° ordinal of the Constitution of the Republic, is Faculty of this organ of State grant to individuals or populations, titles, honorary distinctions and gratuities consistent with the form of Government established by relevant services to the homeland.

III.-that the citizen Alcira Alonso, dancer and choreographer native to Argentina and resident in our country since 1961, has promoted the development of the ballet in El Salvador, with enormous talent and professionalism to exercise his talent as a dancer, teacher, choreographer and producer for 50 years.
IV. that within the contributions from Doña Alcira Alonso, notably the promotion of art and culture through education, be it Madam Alonso who introduced in El Salvador, the system of Royal Academy of dance in London, promoting our country's participation in the International Festival of Ballet children and youth; He also founded the Ballet folklorico in our country and the Municipal School of Ballet, which was the birthplace of great artists as dancer and master Mauricio Bonilla.
V under the aforementioned merits, it is coming to grant the honorable distinction of "remarkable dancer and teacher eminent de la dance in El Salvador", the Lady Alcira Alonso, by its outstanding track record and contribution to the dance and the Salvadoran culture.
