THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.- That the “Lumen 2000 Association of El Salvador”, is an apolitical and non-profit institution, whose aims, among others, are to spread cultural, human, moral and ethical values through the social media, ensuring that they reach the greatest possible audience, without distinction as to race, sex or nationality.

II.- For the purpose of raising funds for the achievement of its objectives, a vehicle will be introduced to the country, which will be subsequently made available.

III.- That in accordance with the powers conferred upon this Legislative Assembly by the Constitution of the Republic, and with the aim of contributing to the fulfilment of its objectives, it is appropriate to exempt from the payment of taxes, including wine cellar, which can cause the introduction to the country of the said motor and the riff of the same.

TANTO,

in the use of its constitutional powers and at the initiative of the Deputy Sandra Marlene Salgado García.

RIGHT:

Art. 1.- Exonerate the payment of taxes, including wine cellar, except for the Tax on the Transfer of Furniture Goods and to the Benefit of Services (IVA), which may cause the introduction to the country of a vehicle, as well as the riff of the same, in favor of the “ Lumen 2000 Association of El Salvador”, which is of the following characteristics: brand: Toyota; model: Kun51L-IKPSYx; type:

The waiver granted is without prejudice to the monitoring and control to be exercised by the respective tax agencies. In addition, representatives of the Association shall submit to this Assembly within 30 days of the event, a report duly signed and sealed by a responsible auditor, on the income obtained and the distribution thereof.

Art. 2.- This Decree shall enter into force from the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
