THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.- In accordance with article 131, ordinal 22 of the Constitution of the Republic, it is the authority of this State Body, to grant persons or populations, titles, honour distinctions and gratifications, compatible with the form of government established, for relevant services rendered to the Homeland.

II.- That article 6, paragraph (c) of the Law on Honorary Distinctions, Gratifications and Titles, establishes that the honorary distinctions of Notable and Distinguished or Distinguished, in their order of relevance, may be granted to Salvadoran or foreign residents, when the services or contributions that have been provided to the Patria, are related to the dissemination and use of the science, art, culture,

III.- That the citizen Enot Rubio Parada, born on October 23, 1959, in El Carmen, department of La Unión, has done tireless work for the benefit of the Salvadoran family, youth and children, promoting, promoting and implementing projects for the poorest communities of El Salvador, whose activities are aimed at guiding and improving the quality of life of the family in an integral way.

IV.- That the disinterested work he has carried out throughout his life, has validated him various recognitions at the national and international level, being a precursor in the formation of the Salvadoran committee “EL PICHE”, through which he has dedicated himself to helping the community get out of the precarious condition that assisted them, thus bringing a light of hope to these people who so much needed it.

V.- That within the innumerable and invaluable contributions that stand out most for the Salvadoran population, there is the introduction of drinking water to several communities, the construction of housing for victims of Hurricane Stan, the construction and equipment of schools in various places of our country, and more recently, the help of the El Salvador band, which represented us in the traditional “Las Rosas” parade in Los Angeles, California.

VI.- That by virtue of the above-mentioned merits, it is appropriate to grant the Honorary Distinction of the "CIUDED OF THE SALVADOR" to Mr. Enot Rubio Parada, in recognition of his praiseworthy work for the benefit of the Salvadoran population.

in the use of its constitutional powers and at the initiative of the Deputy Martyr Arnoldo Marín Villanueva, and with the support of the deputy Margarita Escobar.

RIGHT:

Art. 1.- Please tell Mr. Enot Rubio Parada, “DISTINGUIDO CIUDADANO DE EL SALVADOR”, in recognition of his praiseworthy work for the benefit of the Salvadoran population.

Art. 2.- This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
