DECREE No. 520 THE LEGISLATURE OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR, CONSIDERING
:
I. That the July 5, 2013, was signed the Agreement on Trade in arms of the United Nations Organization.
II the instrument referred to in previous paragraph to has been approved by Executive Order No. 1248/2013, of August 8, 2013, and submitted for consideration by the Legislature for inclusion in the Salvadoran legal system , effective and positive.
III that this instrument contains no provision contrary to the Constitution, being from ratification.
THEREFORE,
in use of the power provided for in Art. 131, ordinal 7 of the Constitution in conjunction with Art. 168, ordinal 4 of the same, and at the initiative of the President of the Republic through then Deputy Minister of Development Cooperation, in charge of the office. DECREES
:
Art. 1. is ratified in all parts of the Treaty on Arms Trade Organization of the United Nations, which consists of a preamble and 28 articles, signed on June 5, 2013; approved by the Executive Branch, through Agreement No. 1248/2013 of 8 August 2013.
Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
