DECRETO N° 551

OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.- That the existing delimitation between the municipalities that comprise the Department of Ahuachapán does not conform to the present development of technology in the field of registration and territorial measurement; nor to the existing circumstances of social and economic development in the country.

II.- That with the recording technology and the photogrametric models currently available by the National Registry Centre; it is possible to carry out a precise delimitation and demarcation of those limits.

III.- That a process of dialogue has been developed between the municipalities involved with the assistance of the National Registry Centre and the Geographical Institute and the National Catastro, thus arriving at the elaboration and signature of the Act of Municipal Limit GUAYMANGO and SANTO DOMINGO DE GUZMÁN with reference No. 0106 - 0314, which is taken as the basis for the contents of this decree and is annexed as an integral part of it.

IV.- According to Art. 131 ordinal 5° of the Constitution is the responsibility of this State body to decree, interpret, reform and repeal secondary laws.

Art. 1.- It is established as a limit between the municipalities of Guaymango and Santo Domingo de Guzmán of the departments of Ahuachapán and Sonsonate, the following:

The trazo of the municipal boundary consists of three paths. The first route, consisting of a single section, determined by two points numbered from one to two, by plots; the second route, composed of two sections, determined with three points numbered from two to four, by natural hydrographic element; the third route, composed of two sections, determined by three points, numbered from four to six, by land communication.

Trifini starting point. It is defined in the interception of the prolongation of the property liner that divides the plots four hundred four, of the sector zero one zero six R zero seven and the number seven, of the sector zero three fourteen R zero two, with the central axis of the neighboring street that of the canton and manor El Cortez, leads to the village of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, where the point number one is located, to the

At the same time trifinio point for the municipalities of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, of the Department of Sonsonate, San Pedro Puxtla and Guaymango, both of the Department of Ahuachapán. Its coordinates are length equal, four hundred eleven thousand seven hundred and fifty and one point seventy-five meters; latitude equal, two hundred and eighty-eight thousand and five cubits seventy-nine cubits. Its neighbors are, for the municipality of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, plot six, of sector zero three fourteen R zero two; for the municipality of Guaymango, plot four hundred four, of sector zero one zero six R zero seven and for the municipality of San Pedro Puxtla, plot one, of sector zero one ten R zero four.

Traject one

Single Tram, point number one to point number two. Southwest, on a semi-rect line, by plots, to intercept the central axis of the Sucio River, San Pedro or Sihuapán, where the point number two is located, with a distance of approximately one thousand three hundred eleven points twenty-six meters. Its coordinates are length equal, four hundred eleven thousand six hundred forty-three point forty-two meters; latitude equal, two hundred and eighty-seven thousand two hundred and four cubits eighty-six meters. Southwest, in a windy line, by the central axis of the Sucio River, San Pedro or Sihuapán, downstream, to its mouth on the Sunzacuapa River, specifically on the site called Los Encuentros, where the point number three is located, with a distance of approximately two hundred and ninety-six thirty-four meters. Its coordinates are Length equal, four hundred eleven thousand four hundred and fifty-eight thirty-nine meters; Latitude equal, two hundred and eighty-seven thousand forty-six cubits. Its neighbors are, for the municipality of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, plot one, of sector zero three fourteen R zero four; for the municipality of Guaymango, plot three hundred ninety and six, of sector zero one zero six R zero seven.

I bring two, from point number three to point number four. Southwest, on a sinuous line, along the central axis of the Sunzacuapa River, downstream, until intercepting the extension of the central axis of the neighboring street, which from the Sunzacuapa River leads to the canton and manor El Zarzalito, place where the point number four is located, with a distance of about one thousand seven hundred twenty-nine thirty-seven meters. Its coordinates are equal length, four hundred eleven thousand sixty-four point zero five meters; equal latitude, two hundred eighty-five thousand six hundred eighteen point zero meters. Its neighbors are, for the municipality of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, plot one, of sector zero three fourteen R zero four; for the municipality of Guaymango, plots three hundred twenty-four, three hundred fifty-two, three hundred forty-eight, three hundred forty-four, three hundred forty-six, three hundred and forty-two, one-seventy-nine, one-nine-nine.

Traject three

I bring one, point number four to point number five. Southeast, on a sinuous line, along the central axis of the neighboring street, which from the Sunzacuapa River leads to the canton and manor El Zarzalito, to intercept the central axis of another neighborhood street that from the canton and farmhouse El Zarzalito, leads to the canton and manor El Sálamo, where the point number five is located, with a distance of approximately two hundred and nine. Its coordinates are equal length, four hundred eleven thousand three hundred nine forty meters; equal latitude, two hundred and eighty-five thousand four hundred ninety-nine meters. Its neighbors are, for the municipality of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, plot one, of sector zero three fourteen R zero four; for the municipality of Guaymango, plots two hundred fifty and one, two hundred and fifty-nine, two hundred thirty-nine and eight hundred twenty-two, river by means, all of sector zero one zero six R zero nine.

I bring two, from point number five to point number six. South, in a straight line, by the central axis of the neighboring street that from the canton and hamlet El Zarzalito, leads to the canton and farm El Sálamo, to intercept the extension of the property lindero that divides the plots two hundred sixty and one, of the sector zero three fourteen R zero three and the five hundred eighty-four, of the sector zero three zero one R twenty, place where the number is located Its coordinates are the same length, four hundred eleven thousand three hundred six seventeen meters; the same latitude, two hundred eighty-five thousand two hundred seventy-four thirty-nine meters. Its neighbors are, for the municipality of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, plots ten, two and two hundred sixty and one, all of the sector zero three fourteen R zero three; for the municipality of Guaymango, plot eight hundred eight, of the sector zero one zero six R zero nine.

Trifini point of arrival. The point of arrival will be described as point number six, which at the same time is trifinio for the municipalities of Santo Domingo de Guzmán and Acajutla, both of the Department of Sonsonate, and Guaymango, of the Department of Ahuachapán. Its neighbors are, for the municipality of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, plot two hundred sixty and one, of sector zero three fourteen R zero three; for the municipality of Acajutla, plot five hundred eighty and four, of sector zero three zero one, R twenty and for the municipality of Guaymango, plot eight hundred eighty, of sector zero one zero six R zero nine.

Art. 2.- This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
