THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.- Let Art. 101 of the Constitution provides that the State shall promote economic and social development, through increased production and productivity, and thus promote the various productive sectors.

II.- That through Legislative Decree No. 456, of 31 October 2007, published in Official Gazette No. 235, Volume No. 377 of 17 December 2007, the Decree on Restricting Exports of Ferrous and Non Ferrous Wastes and Wastes was issued.

III.- That theft of telephone and electrical power cables has reflected a considerable decrease from the entry into force of the Decree on Restricting Exports of Ferrous and non- Ferrous Wastes and Wastes.

IV.- That Legislative Decree No. 525 of 25 November 2010 extended the validity of Legislative Decree No. 456, until 31 December 2013.

V.- In view of the fact that the reduction in theft of electrical and telephony distribution cables has been evident, its extension is necessary in order to continue to affect the reduction of theft of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

TANTO,

in use of its constitutional powers and at the initiative of the Deputies Carmen Elena Calderón de Escalón, Margarita Escobar and Bertha Mercedes Aviles de Rodríguez, and of the Deputies Roberto José d ́Aubuisson Munguía, Jesús Grande, Manuel Rigoberto Soto Lazo, Guadalupe Antonio Vásquez Martínez Rodolfo Antonio Parker Soto and Ciro Alexis Zepeda Menjívar.

RIGHT:

Art. 1.- Prorrógase hasta el 31 de diciembre del año 2014, lo establece en el Decreto Legislativo No 456, del 31 de octubre de 2007, publicado en el Diario Oficial No 235, Tomo No 377 del 17 de diciembre de 2007.

Art. 2.- This Decree shall enter into force from the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
