THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.- In accordance with article 131, paragraph 22 of the Constitution of the Republic, it is the authority of this State body, to grant persons or populations, titles, honour distinctions and gratifications consistent with the established form of government, by altruistic and humanitarian services, relevant to the nation.

II.- That article 6, paragraph (a) of the Law on Honorary Distinctions, Gratifications and Titles, establishes that the nomination of “Son or Daughter of El Salvador” constitutes a very high distinction and that Salvadoran persons who are devoted to or engaged in the practice of humanitarian and altruistic activities, or their transcendental contributions or services to human knowledge, in such a way, represent a universal benefit.

III.- That the Major of Firefighters Abner Audiel Hurtado Galdámez has provided countless contributions to Salvadoran society with its hard social and humanitarian work for the most vulnerable population, promoting and promoting the implementation of programs of different nature, achieving a better quality of life in the communities, and with that, the recognition of different international organizations.

IV.- That Major Hurtado Galdámez has stood out for his work done for the benefit of the population with great professionalism and dedication in the adverse circumstances that the country has experienced, during the most devastating natural disasters that have plagued the region, performing their work with courage and dedication, with the sole purpose of supporting the most needy and vulnerable to the dangers posed by accidental sinisters and natural disasters in El Salvador.

V.- That by virtue of the above merits, it is appropriate to declare to the citizen and Major of firemen Abner Audiel Hurtado Galdámez, "HIJO MERITISIMO DE EL SALVADOR", in recognition of his praiseworthy work dedicated to the service of the Salvadoran citizens.

RIGHT:

Art. 1.- Tell the Major of Firefighters Abner Audiel Hurtado Galdámez, “HIJO MERITISIMO DE EL SALVADOR”, in recognition of his praiseworthy work dedicated to the service of Salvadoran citizens.

Art. 2.- This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
