THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.- On 19 December 2002, the Ministers for Foreign Affairs and the Economy signed a Coordination Agreement between the two Ministries, with regard to strengthening the management of the Republic of El Salvador to the World Trade Organization, WTO and the World Intellectual Property Organization, WIPO, in Geneva, Switzerland.
II.- In accordance with paragraph 14, paragraph 1, of the Convention, it was established that the operating expenses of the Permanent Mission of El Salvador in Geneva, Switzerland, would be divided and covered by both ministries, in accordance with a plan of expenditure, previously defined and that the contribution of the Ramo de Economía will be transferred to the Ramo de Relaciones Exteriores, so that it will transfer those resources to the Permanent Mission in Geneva, Switzerland.
III.- That it is necessary that the Permanent Mission of our country based in Geneva, Switzerland, be able to have the necessary resources to continue its management of enhancing trade negotiations of a bilateral, regional and multilateral nature aimed at the adoption of international legal instruments that will improve the conditions of access of Salvadoran exports of goods and services that help to bring to the country increased flows of investment and technology.
IV.- That in order to transfer the resources necessary for the operation of the Permanent Mission of our country based in Geneva, Switzerland, during the present fiscal financial period of 2014, it is necessary to incorporate the reforms corresponding to the budget approved by Legislative Decree No. 522, dated 31 October 2013, published in Official Gazette No. 225, Volume No. 401, of 2 December of the same year.

Art. 1.- The current Budget Act, Section - General Budget BUDGET, Part III - Expenses, introduces the following modifications:

B. The resources to finance the present modification will be taken from the Economy Ramo, Budget Unit 02 Trade Policy and Treaty Management, Labour Line 03 Representation to WTO and WIPO, the Revenue 54 Property and Services Procurement, the amount of $21,192 and the Revenue 55 Financial and Others, the amount of $1,260, funded by the General Fund.
Art. 2.- This Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
