DECADE N° 671

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.- That the existing delimitation between the municipalities that comprise the Department of San Vicente does not conform to the present development of technology in the field of registration and territorial measurement; nor to the existing circumstances of social and economic development of the country.

II.- That with the recording technology and the photogrametric models currently available by the National Registry Centre; it is possible to carry out a precise delimitation and demarcation of those limits.

III.- That a process of dialogue has been developed between the municipalities involved with the assistance of the National Registry Centre and the Geographical Institute and the National Catastro, thus arriving to the elaboration and signature of the Act of Municipal Limit BERLIN – SAN VICENTE with reference No. 1102 - 1010, which is taken as the basis for the contents of this decree and is annexed as an integral part of it.

IV.- According to Art. 131 ordinal 5° of the Constitution is the responsibility of this State body to decree, interpret, reform and repeal secondary laws.

in use of its constitutional powers and at the initiative of the Deputies Carlos Armando Reyes Ramos, Guadalupe Antonio Vásquez Martínez, Carlos Cortéz Hernández and Jorge Alberto Escobar Bernal.

RIGHT:

Art. 1.- It is established as a limit between the municipalities of Berlin and San Vicente, the departments of Usulután and San Vicente, the following:

The trazo of the municipal boundary is made up of a single path, composed also of a single section, determined by two points, numbered from one to two, by natural hydrographic element.

The measurement of the coordinates corresponding to the length and latitude of each of the points that make up the limit has been carried out on the cadastral information of the old system, because in the eastern area, specifically the Departments of Saint Vincent and Usulután, the updating of the cadastral base has not yet been carried out.

Its neighbors are, for the ,Municipio de San Vicente, plot thirty-eight of the cadastral leaf four hundred sixty-one ten zero zero zero zero; for the Municipality of Mercedes Umaña, plot one hundred thirty-nine (eastern part) and for the Municipality of Berlin, plot one hundred thirty-nine (western part), both of the cadastral leaf four hundred sixty-one six sixteen.

Its neighbors are for the Municipality of San Vicente, plot ninety and one of the cadastral leaf four hundred sixty and one twenty zero zero zero zero, for the Municipality of Berlin, plot two hundred twenty seven applied one of the catastral leaf four hundred sixty and one twenty-one zero zero zero and for the Municipality of San Agustín, plot one hundred seventy and six of the cadastral leaf four hundred sixty and one twenty-one zero zero.

Art. 2.- This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
