DECREE NO 726

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That the existing delimitation between the Municipalities that comprise the Department of Freedom does not conform to the present development of technology in the field of registry and territorial measurement; nor does it conform to the

II.-What with technology in place.

II. registration and the photogrammetric models currently available from the National Center of Records; it is possible to carry out a precise delimitation and demarcation of these limits.

III.-That a process of dialogue has developed between the municipalities involved with the assistance of the National Records Center and the Geographic Institute and the National Catastro, thus arriving in this way to the elaboration and signature of the Act of Municipal Limit ANCIENT CUSCATLÁN-HUIZUCAR with Reference No 0501-0506, which is taken as the basis for the content of this Decree and annexed as an integral part of it.

IV.-That the Municipal Code in its Art. 23 establishes that it is the faculty of the Legislative Assembly to decree the definition of the Territorial Limits.

V.-That according to Art. 131 ordinal 5 ° of the Constitution is the responsibility of this First State Authority to Enact, Authentically Interpret, Reform And Repeal Secondary Laws.

BY TANTO,

in use of its Constitutional powers and at the initiative of the Deputies Carlos Cortez Hernandez, Nery Arely Diaz de Rivera, Mildred Guadalupe Machado, Rafael Moran Tobar, Mario Eduardo Valiant Ortiz and Guadalupe Antonio Vasquez Martinez and former Deputy Erik Mira Bonilla.

DECCRETA:

Art. 1.-It is established as Limit between the Municipalities of Old Cuscatlán and Huizúcar both of the Department of Liberty, the following:

The trace of the Municipal Limit is formed by two routes. The first journey formed from a single section, determined with two numbered points of one to two, by line of plots; the second journey formed of a single section, determined with two points, numbered two to three, natural element hydrographic.

Start Trifinium Point. It is located in the northern corner of the plot forty-five, of the field zero five ten R zero three, being this the point number one, at the same time it is considered as trifinium for the Municipalities of Ancient Cuscatlan, Huizucar and New Cuscatlan, all from the Department of Freedom. Its coordinates are the same length, four hundred and seventy-three thousand-seven-point ninety-two meters; the same latitude, two hundred and seventy-nine thousand five hundred and eighty-nine-point eighty-three meters. Its adjacent ones are, for the Municipality of Antiguo Cuscatlán, plot one hundred and thirty-three (Finca La Labranzone), of the sector zero five ten R zero three; for the Municipality of Huizucar, plot forty-five, of the sector zero five ten R zero three and for the Municipality of New Cuscatlán, plot thirty-five, of sector zero five ten R zero three.

Journey one

Single Tramo, from point number one to point number two. With a northeast direction, in a semi-straight line, by plot lines, to intercept the central axis of the Chavez River, where the number two point is located, with a distance of approximately two hundred and four zero meters. Its coordinates are the same length, four hundred and seventy-three thousand three hundred ten points eighty-nine meters; latitude equal, two hundred and seventy-nine thousand five hundred and ninety-six-point eighty-four meters. Its adjacent ones are, for the Municipality of Antiguo Cuscatlán, plot one hundred and thirty-three, of the sector zero five zero one R zero two; for the Municipality of Huizucar, plot forty-five (Finca Amulunca or Santa Isabel II), of the sector zero five ten R zero three.

Journey two

Single Tramo, from point number two to point number three. With a southeastern course, in a winding line, through the central axis of the Chavez River, to intercept the extension of an imaginary line that part of the plot twenty, of the sector zero five ten R zero three, with the following direction: S 28 ° 10 ' 27 " E, (See Annex in view "A"), place where the number three point is located, with a distance of approximately three hundred three points eleven meters. Its coordinates are the same length, four hundred and seventy-three thousand four hundred and twenty-eight point twenty-one meters; equal latitude, two hundred and seventy-nine thousand three hundred and twenty-three-point ninety-five meters. Its adjacent ones are, for the Municipality of Antiguo Cuscatlán, plots one hundred and thirty-three (Finca La Labranzona), of the sector zero five zero one R zero two; for the Municipality of Huizucar, plot forty-five (Finca Amulunca or Santa Isabel II), sector zero five ten R zero three.

Trifinium point of arrival. The point of arrival is the one described as point number three, which at the same time is trifinium for the Municipalities of Huizucar, Antiguo Cuscatlán, both of the Department of Liberty and San Marcos, of the Department of San Salvador. Its adjacent ones are, for the Municipality of Huizucar, plot forty-five (Finca Amulunca or Santa Isabel II), of the sector zero five ten R zero three; for the Municipality of Ancient Cuscatlan, plot one hundred and thirty-three, of the sector zero five zero one R zero two and for the Municipality of San Marcos, plot twenty, of the sector zero five ten R zero three.

Art. 2.-This Decree will enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
