DECREE NO 740
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That the existing delimitation between the Municipalities that comprise the Department of Freedom does not conform to the present development of technology in the field of registry and territorial measurement; nor does it conform to the
II.-What with technology in place.
II. registration and the photogrammetric models currently available from the National Center of Records; it is possible to carry out a precise delimitation and demarcation of these limits.
III.-That a process of dialogue has developed between the municipalities involved with the assistance of the National Records Center and the Geographic Institute and the National Catastro, thus arriving in this way to the elaboration and signature of the Municipal Limit Act SAN MATIAS-SAN PABLO TACACHICO with Reference No 0516-0517, which is taken as the basis for the content of this Decree and is annexed as an integral part of it.
IV.-That the Municipal Code in its Art. 23 establishes that it is the faculty of the Legislative Assembly to decree the definition of territorial limits.
V.-That according to Art. 131 ordinal 5 ° the Constitution is the competence of this First State Authority to decree, to interpret authentically, to reform and to repeal secondary laws.

in use of its Constitutional powers and at the initiative of the Deputies Carlos Cortez Hernandez, Nery Arely Diaz de Rivera, Mildred Guadalupe Machado, Rafael Moran Tobar, Mario Eduardo Brave Ortiz and Guadalupe Antonio Vasquez Martinez and former Deputy Erik Mira Bonilla.
DECCRETA:
Art. 1.-It is established as a limit between the Municipalities of San Matias and San Pablo Tacachico both of the Department of Liberty, the following:
The trace of the municipal limit is composed of five commutes. The first journey formed of two sections, determined by three points, numbered one to three, by line of plots; the second journey, consisting of two sections, determined by three points, numbered from three to five, by means of communication land; the third journey formed from a single section, determined by two points, numbered from five to six, per line of plots; the fourth journey, consisting of a single section, determined by two points, numbered six to seven, by way of land communication; the fifth and final journey, consisting of two sections, determined by three points, numbered seven to nine, by

Trifinium start point. It is defined on the top of the hill Las Anonas, specifically in the northwest corner of the plot thirteen, belonging to the sector zero five sixteen R zero three, being at the same time mojon trifinio for the Municipalities of San Pablo Tacachico, San Matias and San Juan Opico, all belonging to the Department of Freedom. Its coordinates are the same length, four hundred and sixty six thousand six points fifteen meters; Latitud equal, three hundred and thirteen thousand eight hundred six points ninety-four meters. Its adjacent ones are, for the Municipality of San Pablo Tacachico, plot nine, of the sector zero five seventeen R fourteen; for the Municipality of San Matias, plot thirteen, of the sector zero five sixteen R zero three; for the Municipality of San Juan Opico, Four hundred one, zero sector five fifteen R zero three.
Journey one
Tramo one, from point number one to point number two. With a southeast direction, in a straight line, by line of plots, to intercept the central axis of the neighborhood street, which communicates the canton and hamlet Las Anonas with the Lotification Los Varillales, where the number two point is located, with a distance Approximately one hundred and fifty-nine point twenty meters. Its coordinates are the same length, four hundred and sixty-six thousand-ten-point twenty-nine meters; equal latitude, three hundred and thirteen thousand six hundred and eighty-seven points eighty meters. Its adjacent ones are, for the Municipality of San Pablo Tacachico, plots nine, of the field zero five seventeen R fourteen, thirty and one, of the field zero five sixteen R zero three; for the Municipality of San Matias, plot thirteen, of the field zero five Sixteen R zero three.
Tramo two, from point number two to point number three. With a southeast direction, in a straight line, by line of plots, to intercept the central axis of the neighborhood street that communicates the canton of New Workers with canton and hamlet Las Anonas, where the number three point is located, with an approximate distance of four hundred and twenty-seven point thirty meters. Its coordinates are the same length, four hundred and sixty-six thousand three hundred and fifty-seven point thirty-two meters; equal latitude, three hundred and thirteen thousand three hundred and sixty-two zero meters. Its adjacent ones are, for the Municipality of San Pablo Tacachico, plots thirty-one and thirty-four, both of the sector zero five sixteen R zero three; for the Municipality of San Matias, plot thirty two, thirty-three and twenty-five, all of the sector zero five sixteen R zero three.
Route two
Tramo one, from point number three to point number four. With a southwest direction, in a winding line, along the central axis of the street leading to the hamlet of San Pedro Las Flores, to intercept the central axis of the old street that communicates the Cantonese Las Anonas with San Pedro Las Flores, where the point number four, with an approximate distance of forty-six points ninety-seven meters. Its coordinates are the same length, four hundred and sixty-six thousand three hundred and forty-two-point twenty-nine meters; equal latitude, three hundred and thirteen thousand three hundred and nineteen-hundred and seventy-eight meters. Its adjoining members are, for the Municipality of San Pablo Tacachico, plots four and fifty-three, both of the zero-sector five sixteen R zero three; for the Municipality of San Matías, plots twenty-five, fifty-four and five hundred seven, all of the sector zero five sixteen R zero three.

Tramo two, from point number eight to point number nine. With a southeastern course, in a broken line, by line of plots, to intercept the central axis of the river Sucio, where the number nine is located, with an approximate distance of one thousand and twenty-three points zero nine meters. Its coordinates are the same length, four hundred and seventy-one thousand two hundred and fourteen-hundred and eighty-nine meters; equal latitude, three hundred and fourteen thousand six hundred and ninety-three zero four meters. Its adjacent ones are, for the Municipality of San Pablo Tacachico, plots three hundred and forty-six and three hundred and forty-seven (Hacienda Huisilapa), both of the sector zero five seventeen R zero nine; for the Municipality of San Matias, plot six hundred and eighty (Hacienda Rancho Quemado), from the sector zero five sixteen R zero one.
Trifinium point of arrival. It is the one described as a point number nine, which at the same time identifies as a trifinium point for the Municipalities of San Matías and San Pablo Tacachico, both of the Department of Liberty and El Paisnal, of the Department of San Salvador. Its adjoining are, for the Municipality of San Matias, parcel six hundred and eighty, of the sector zero five sixteen R zero one; for the Municipality of San Pablo Tacachico, plot three hundred and forty seven, of the field zero five seventeen R zero nine and for the Municipality of El Paisnal, plot fifty-one, of the sector zero six zero five R seventeen.
Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
