DECREE NO 753

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That in accordance with Article 131, ordinal 22 ° of the Constitution of the Republic, it is the faculty of this State Authority to grant to persons or populations, titles, honorary distinctions and compatible gratifications with the form of government established, for relevant services provided to the Homeland.

DECRETA:

Art. 1.-Declare Oscar Mauricio alas Romero, "DISTINGUISHED JOURNALIST OF EL SALVADOR", post mortem, in recognition of his invaluable contributions to the journalism of our country and his outstanding professional communicative work for the benefit of the Salvadoran population.

Art. 2.-This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
