DECREE NO 759

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That the "Dei Verbum" Foundation is a public utility, apolitical, non-profit, whose objectives, among others, are to proclaim and promote the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; to foster social development through housing, educational, food and health projects.

II. To raise funds for the realization of comprehensive care centers for youth in different areas of the country, will introduce the country a vehicle, which will be later raffled.

III.-That according to the faculties that to this The Legislative Assembly confers on it the Constitution of the Republic, it is appropriate to exonerate the payment of taxes, including bodegaje, that can cause the introduction to the country of the referred vehicle, as well as the raffle of the same.

in use of his Constitutional powers and at the initiative of the Deputies Mario Marroquín Mejia, Jose Francisco Merino Lopez and Deputy Carmen Elena Calderón de Escalón.

DECCRETA:

Art. 1.-The "Dei Verbum" Foundation, the payment of taxes, including winegage, with the exception of the Tax on the Transfer of Furniture and Services (VAT), which may cause the introduction to the country of a vehicle and the raffle of the same, which is of the following characteristics: mark: KIA; model: TAS6K2615_D_D727_2015 -PICANTO LX; type: Sedan; class: automobile; recorded chassis number: KNABE511AFT854384; motor number: G3LAEP090444; colour: grey; fuel: petrol: year: 2015.

The exemption granted is without prejudice to the supervision and control to be exercised by the respective tax authorities. The representatives of the Foundation will also have to present to this Assembly within 30 days after the event, a report duly signed and sealed by a responsible auditor, on the income obtained and the distribution of same.

Art. 2.-This Decree shall enter into force from the day of its publication in the Official Journal.
