THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That by Legislative Decree No. 773, dated July 18, 1996, published in Official Journal No. 144, Volume No. 332 of 7 August of the same year, the Law of the Police Race was issued, which in its Art. 75 establishes that the staff of the National Civil Police (PNC) will be remunerated according to the Wage Law.
II. is currently being developed in the National Academy of Public Safety (ANSP), the Second Course of the Ascenso de Sargentos with a University Degree to the category of Sub-Inspector of the Executive Level, which is composed of 46 applicants who are will graduate in August 2014, as Subinspectors and who will move to occupy a place of that denomination within the Police Corporation.
III.-That the PNC, only has 39 vacancies of Subinspector for the System of Law From the month of September 2014, 7 new places of Salaries, to guarantee the entire promotion, its respective executive level position within the institution, which does not require additional resources, since it will be financed from the savings generated in the Rubro 51 Remuneration, by the Existence of operating places which are vacant and which are scheduled in the Budget Unit 05 Public Safety, Work Lines 01 Directorate and Administration, 02 Police Effectiveness and 03 Inspectorate Service.
IV. The staff of Sub-Inspectors to graduate, is a contingent of high strategic value for the implementation of the projects being implemented by the National Civil Police, related to the protection of public security at the national level; therefore, it is necessary to reform the existing Wage Law, voted by Legislative Decree No. 523, On 31 October 2013, published in the Official Journal No 225, Volume N ° 401 of 2 December 2013, specifically in the part corresponding to the Ramo de Justicia y Seguridad Pública, National Civil Police, in order to incorporate 7 Subinspector places.

DECRETA:
Art. 1.-In the current Wage Law, Section I-SALARIES WITH APPLICATION TO THE GENERAL BUDGET OF THE STATE, in the part corresponding to the Ramo of Justice and Public Safety, Budget Unit 05 Public Safety, Work Line 02 Effectiveness Police, Code 2014-2400-2-05-02-21-1,

Art. 3.-This Decree shall enter into force from the day of its publication in the Official Journal.
