DECREE N ° 800

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That in accordance with Article 131, ordinal 11th of the Constitution, it is the faculty of this Legislative Assembly to decree, in a general manner, benefits and tax incentives or of any nature, for the promotion of cultural, scientific, agricultural, industrial, or other activities.

II. Promotion that is made through tourism for the restoration, conservation and use of any physical work of collective and national interest, stimulates the improvement of the infrastructure of a locality, which allocates part of the benefits it receives, for the construction of works of community interest such as schools, medical centers, sports facilities and cultural centers.

III.-That the Route of the Flowers, has been constituted in one of the most enjoyed tourist tours by the Salvadoran and foreign families, who find in our country a natural attraction that counts with the most beautiful landscapes around it, which within the destinations it includes, are villages of immeasurable cultural tradition, which cross one of the most flourishing areas of El Salvador, crossing between coffee forests, a climate This is a fresh opportunity to interact in historical places and to be in direct contact with our natural resources.

IV.-That for the reasons set forth, it is appropriate to declare the first Sunday of the month of October of each year " Route of the Flowers of El Salvador ", in recognition of its cultural and historical value, as part of our Salvadoran traditions.

DECCRETA:

Art. 1.-Declare the First Sunday of the month of October of each year "Day of the Route of the Flowers of El Salvador".

Art. 2.-Facultate to the Ministry of Tourism, to coordinate with the Mayors of the corresponding Municipalities and other interested institutions, the necessary activities that will give you this holiday.

Art. 3.-This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
