DECREE NO 818

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That on September 28, 1954, the Convention on the Status of Patron was signed in the Framework of the United Nations Organization.

II.-The Instrument referred to in the previous recital has been approved by Executive Agreement N ° 701/2014 of 15 May 2014 and submitted for consideration to this Legislative Assembly for its ratification.

III.-That the Convention referred to above does not contain any provision contrary to the Constitution, its ratification being appropriate.

BY TANTO,

in use of the established authority In Art. 131, Ordinary 7th of the Constitution in relation to Art. 168, Ordinary 4th of the Constitution and at the initiative of the then President of the Republic, five years 2009-2014, through the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

DECCRETA:

Art. 1.-The Convention on the Statute of the Patronids, which consists of a preamble, forty-two articles, an annex of sixteen paragraphs and a model of travel document; signed by the Government of the Republic of El Salvador on 28 September 1954 and approved by the Executive Body in the Ramo de Relaciones Exteriores, by Agreement N ° 701/2014 of 15 May 2014.

Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
