DECREE NO 837

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That the International Convention for the Conservation of Atlantic Tuna was signed on May 14, 1966.

II.-That the Instrument referred to in the previous recital has been approved by Agreement Executive Nº 1748/2014 of 8 October 2014, and submitted to this Legislative Assembly for its consideration ratification.

III.-That the Convention referred to above does not contain any provision contrary to the Constitution, its ratification being appropriate.

BY TANTO,

in use of the authority established in Art. 131, ordinal 7th of the Constitution in relation to Art. 168, ordinal 4th of it, and at the initiative of the President of the Republic, through the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

DECCRETA:

Art. 1.-The International Convention for the Conservation of Atlantic Tuna, which consists of a preamble and 16 articles, signed on 14 May 1966, and approved by the Executive Body in the Ramo of Relations, is ratified in all its parts. External, by Agreement N ° 1748/2014 of 8 October 2014.

Art. 2. -This Decree will enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
